1. Desh Alb - Loss of Endurance
Ambient elettronic music, dark ambient, drone music, experimental, idm, downtempo. I grew up under the shadow of the '70s german cosmic music, listening to Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Manuel Götsching, Ash Ra Temple, Popul Vuh, Kraftwerk, Brian Eno and many other artists who were pioneers and creators of the modern electronic music. Desh Alb Project was born at the beginning of 2013. I mainly propose dark ambient, but more generally electronic music composed with Logic, virtual synth and iPad. My music is moving between light and dark, in a place where suggested melodies melt in the dissonance of the pure noise. Everday recordings mix with deep space sounds, acoustic landscapes apparently so remote but living in our subcounscious. If you want to travel with me, close your eyes and wear your headphones, or blast the sound out in the space. If I will catch your mind with my music, I will be very happy...Thanks for listening
2. Galactic Kaleidoscope - Angel On Fire
3. Cousin Silas - The Purple Room
Cousin Silas was born in 1959 and raised in the Colne Valley in West Yorkshire. He draws inspiration from such diverse sources as JG Ballard, Fortean events, memories and Brian Eno. Cousin Silas has been creating richly-textured ambient electronic music since 1996. He hails from West Yorkshire.
4. Michael Brückner - Whoshed
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, later settled down near Mainz. Earns a living as a graphical designer. Ambient and other electronica since 1992. Accumulated an extended back catalogue (more than 90 albums by end of 2011, number still growing). Since 2007 offers his music in the internet, via the usual platforms.
Sometimes gets reviews + airplay. Very rarely plays live. More is to come...
5. Drust IV & Ullapul - As I Lay Dying
exploring different fields of electronic music
Happy? … Drust IV performs Phlogiston Turbine Music in North Millbrex.
The Drust IV Collective faced a furious crowd on Friday night, playing cacophonous quadrilles to a cascade of boos at the Muirache International Balladeer festival. Fans expecting Little Musgrave or John Riley were instead met by the skronk and skree of Drust's more recent liberated spontaneous glissando (LSG) infuriating sections of the crowd. As audience members bellowed their complaints, Drust responded. "If you don't think it's music, get ye hence." Then the walk-outs began. Drust, at one point interrupted his own performance, to shout and curse at the crowd "Think ye that I do this for mere amusement? Thou low born varlets. If the expression does not please thee, then pray excuse thyself with good grace and repair yonder. My intuitive aspects are nobly designed and meant only for cultured ears."
The nature of the concert shouldn't really have been a surprise. After all, DRUST IV is one of the Mearn's leading avant-garde beat combos and Erskine (the merry dronester) is preceded by a reputation for, er, singularity. Drust was once, yes, a wry urban chanticleer – but that was decades ago. Recently he has been touring his controversial set, Phlogiston Turbine Music – a work so impenetrable, vacuous, arcane, noisy and abrasive that for years many thought it was a joke. However, there weren't many laughs at this concert, which attracted more than 15 fans – some paying almost 1 ducat (2 scotch shillings) for tickets. The concert consisted of just four instrumentals plus encore, according to the Finzean Gleaner and Mail, with "no singing ... [and] no accompaniement". The only sounds were Jingle-Sykes's fiddle and spinet, Erskine's alto sackbutt, and Drust's 7 stringed lute. In an interview earlier that day, he had gleefully promised a night of brazen "Contra-Terza-Rima, 100% improvised". But the balladeer festival programme had been less clear in its description of the performance hinting at Drust's black & immoderate past.
Though Angus is well acquainted with 'free' music, hosting one of North Millbrex's genre festivals, this was a headline performance at a middle-of-the-road troubadour festival. What's more, it was at the festival's largest concert hall. So it didn't take long for the first boos to come. Initially, these complaints were misinterpreted as calls for "Drone" but soon the fans became more direct. "Play some real music" one farmhand called. But others loved it. "There were moments of stunning simplicity," reflected gazetteer critic Oxtro Q Garrimatic. Morphie Gazette writer Mud-Lee Bracks was similarly moved. "Jingle-Sykes' never-ending fiddle trills were mesmerising and Erskine's unexpected contra-melodic offerings late in the show were like diamonds in the mud" he wrote. Another Gazetteer critic, Jacent Orrock, called it "marvellous noise ... [with] a few moments of mesmeric playing".
"Yes, there were those who claimed to enjoy the barrage of discordant noise lacking melody, style, beauty or skill," replied one Finbracks Gazette reader. "[But] to label it correctly, it was pure elitist, pretentious rubbish."
6. Pollux - Ocean Eclipse
Pollux’s real name is Arnaud Barbe. He’s a boy from Lyon, France.
He started making electronic music in the end of 2007 during a depressed period within his life with a track titled “Frustration”, which is a mix of minimalist ambient indus sound & porn samples.
His first Ep was released on the Dustin Must Die Netlabel simply titled “Sirona”. This album was composed with some elements from hardcore techno and ambient tracks. As a reflection of his personality at the time, Pollux's electronic music was divided into both parts of his personality.
It was in the end of 2008, when he discovered the label Proc-Records and release an Ep on it called “Version", that he came to the conclusion that his heart was dedicated to ambient / electronica music and the endless possibilities of expression it was able to provide . It became clear that this style of sound was what he really wanted to explore and felt it fully expressed the real part of what he was.
It was also around this time that he discovered the lobit movement. His first exposure to the style was with the album “Soma/Psyche” which was released on Microbit-Records. Perpetuating his admiration and dedication to the lobit scene was the discovery of the 8ravens netlabel. It was then that he started to experiment with 8kbps sound, and debuted on a split with Graffiti Mechanism & Kai Nobuko. From then on, he became an active member of the Low Bitrate Community and showed his interest in the movement by continuing to release low bitrate music, while also paying close attention to others who were active as well.
2010 saw the debut of his first physical release, simply titled "Scan (Slow Version)". In essence, it's a mini cd-r which was released on the wonderful Kwark Records label, and was composed with a single dark ambient drone noise track. In tandem, Arnaud also has physical stuff. Here are some very symbolic physical releases for Pollux: A lobit, ambient floppy-disk album, "Riot From The Sky". This floppy can be found on Diskette Etikette Rekords. A compilation of various beat tracks called "Blue Riot" in Kitty On Fire Records. The "Offeir Their Souls" split release with his friend Master Toad released on Trashfuck Records, a label who influenced him heavily in his noise production ventures. You can also listen a physical release in the styles of ambient, and brain dance-electronica titled "Crucial Hopes From Dead Birds", released in Dark Meadow Recordings. Essentially, this is simply a compilation of three separate Ep's, which together formed a comprehensive and concise Lp. To date, Pollux claims this album in particular to be one of his best releases at the time. More physical releases have been planned & released, this list is just some symbolic gaps in Pollux musical life.
In Janunary of 2009 he curated a netlabel known as Creative Obsession, although it became defunct after almost 50 releases. In March 2011, under the influence of Proc-Records and filled with experience and an adequate knowledge of the netlabel scene, he finally chose to start an entirely new netlabel, an unbiased place dedicated to all styles of electronic sound, regardless of the bitrate. This new netlabel, known internationally as Sirona-Records, quickly became an important netlabel in the underground scene through it's strong emphases on endless experimentation and the strong community-feel which it conveys.
In addition to his new netlabel, Arnaud joined forces with the brilliant mind of Kai Nobuko to help break ground on the world's first lobit webradio podcast called Tibol. Created to help share the love of low bitrate sound, it quickly gained traction from others in the lobit movement who were equally as motivated about being a Dj for Tibol. Already quite popular by many in the underground, the podcast seems to have a beautiful and positive future. In
For those of you who want to get a better idea of what Pollux's music sounds like, feel free to browse his vast catalog of self-crafted music, however, it should be known that he currently has tons of releases and is featured on roughly a lot of compilations! But number is just a number, and remember: “Sincerity is the key”.

Bandcamp - http://aistob.bandcamp.com/
(a is to b) is the meeting of Scottish noise artist Neil Morrison (The Colours Will Erase Us, Word or Object) and Polish performance artist Marta Adamowicz (MAdam, Gay and Immigrant). Originally conceived as a way to make club-filling drum and bass tracks, it become evident that a shared love of Death in June was going to steer them down a completely different alley. Driving hip hop beats allow a lot of experimentation over the top, as you would expect from two
artists who have had their art in galleries around the world, including Melbourne, Glasgow, Barcelona, Krakow and Oslo. The music deemed to be keeping some genres alive, with their track mróz being reviewed by Witch House Poland as keeping “witch house alive and well.” To pigeonhole though, is to miss the point. Their DNA is equal parts Crystal Castles' domineering sonic assault and The Haxan Cloak's crepuscular, gloomy atmospherics. At once lo-fi and viscerally immediate, they exist at in the perceptual bleed between transgressive performance art, punishing electronic noise and somnolent,
dark ambient void-space.

21. GhostSonic - Polyarnye Idy
Since 2002 I make experimental music. Starting with psychedelic rock, through abstract and noisy sounds, I came to drone ambient music of different shades: dark, grey and multicoloured. I come from the Russian Far Eastern town Blagoveshchensk, a land of permafrost, coldness and oblivion, but in spite of these climate and geographic peculiarities, there are many things, which are able to inspire to find new forms in music. All of my music is free for everyone to have a possibility to listen to it.
22. The Implicit Order - 1974 In Reverse
The Implicit Order is not involved in any wave, stream, genre or scene. I/O started in 1989 as a Mail Art project and by the early 90’s it developed into a musical project incorporating many of the early Industrial/Experimental ideas of the late 70’s, 1980’s and beyond. I try to inject a sense of the Occult, humor, the unknown and an off-kilter view into the image and recordings
23. Jesper Sørensen - Night and day
Jesper Sørensen was born in 1964 in Copenhagen, Denmark. At age 11
he started playing the guitar, and started to write his own music
when he was 14, improvising on various techniques. He went on to
teach himself to play a range of other instruments. His primary
influences are Mike Oldfield, Mark Knopfler, and Jean Michel Jarre.
At the age of 20 he formed his first band, 4us, and through playing
in various clubs and universities was invited to appear on the Danish
national radio. After a break of some years he and 3 friends formed
Half and Half, a cover version band, which became very popular, and
he spent the next 2 years performing and appearing again on
the Danish radio. He continued to experiment with different styles of music
and in 2000 moved to England where he now lives with his
wife and 2 children. He was diagnosed with cancer in early
2006 and after a year of treatment and recovery he
rediscovered the joy of making music and since January
2007 has produced and finished the album A New Time, Origin,
Twilight, the world of electron. He was again diagnosed with cancer
in early 2013 but despite treatments etc. He continued to produce music
and are close to finishing his 2 latest albums Skyrider and Synthology

27. Shava Sadhana - The Left Hand Path of God
Shava Sadhana is a sanskrit term meaning meditation on a dead body. The meditating person sits down on a fresh corpse on the cremation ground and calls for the mother Smashan Kali who dwells there with immaterial spirits, so that she can possess the dead body and get in contact with the meditating person. Swamiji Shree Shree Kalidasha, the creator of the project Shava Sadhana, travelled to Calcutta many times on his numerous journeys to India. Calcutta, the centre of the Kali-cult, has fascinated him since childhood and he regards himself a servant of Mother Kali Ma. He also travelled to Iceland several times and while studying Icelandic and Scandinavian culture he developed an intimate bond to the old nordic Gods. Shava Sadhana is exclusively ritualistic, worshipping both Kali Ma with secret mantras and the Germanic Wotan/Odin. Different occult tenets, especially those of Aleister Crowley, are also woven into his work. Another stimulus for creativity are the journeys that the artist Kalidasha makes by means of different psychedelic, mostly unknown substances, which were investigated by Alexander Shulgin. Different symbolism of runeology and old hinduistic rituals are merged into an individual occult Shava Sadhana philosophy. After some early demo releases, which were only made available to friends, the first regular Shava Sadhana Album "Andask" was released by the label "Licht von Thule". "Andask" represents a compilation of songs, which were composed in the last few years. Furthermore, an exclusive remix of the song "Hel" was included on the "Neo-Form I" online-sampler. The first live performance of Shava Sadhana took place at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2006. For this event the CD "Salon Décadence" was released which includes, amongst others, three exclusive Shava Sadhana songs.
